Rock the Paradise
The Paradise Center for the Arts presents Summer Jam 2010 at 7:30 p.m. on July 9. Circles to Squares and Top Shelf will be playing in the Bahl Family Auditorium, 321 Central Ave.

Show gives local artists slice of limelight
For the third year in a row, the Carlander Gallery plays host for the Paradise Center for the Arts Members Show. Everything from basket weaving to watercolor works to quilts are on display. The show runs through July 30 and admission is free.

Local artists who are members of the Paradise Center for the Arts get their approximate month of fame as the Paradise Center for the Arts Members Show opens Friday and runs through July 30. Admission is free. A reception for the member artists exhibited in the Carlander Gallery will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday.

‘Best of Broadway’
Faribault residents Dallas Musselman, Tyler Schwitchtenberg, Lucinda Wells, Barb Piper and former Faribault native Michael Lambert will be among the cast for the Paradise Center for the Arts’ “Best of Broadway” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday in the Bahl Family Theatre at 321 Central Ave., Faribault.

Paradise summer events
The Paradise Center for the Arts, 321 N. Central Ave., is planning a busy summer, from musical reviews, to classical fairy tales, to recycled art and live concerts, to theater and art camps.

Cast member needed
Julianna Skluzacek, Merlin Players artistic director, is searching for the fourth cast member of the musical “Forever Plaid,” its August 2010 production. Needed is a tenor to sing the role of Jinx. The actor should be between the ages of 20-40. A performance and gas stipend payment will be paid.
